I saw this in another post....and I am reposting it here as I have the same issue?? Could it be a win 10 update issue. my latest shows as
April 9, 2019—KB4493509 (OS Build 17763.437)

I'm having a problem with windows 10. Almost every time I try to type in the Cortana search box, the setting search box, Microsoft Store or Edge the keyboard starts typing random letters.

For instance, if I press "aaaaaaaaaa" it gives out "fvvar8chvx" a random jumble of letters like it is encrypting or forgetting to unencrypt the letters I type.

I'm a little confused because this is only happening in the Edge/Cortana Microsoft programs. Other applications such as Office 365, File Explorer and Chrome are not affected so it doesn't seem to be a keyboard type/region setting problem.

Hope someone can help.

So I take it the keyboard doesn't use Logitech Gaming Software then.

its possible a new version of windows 10 will fix it - its due in a few days

The MS link in other post is from Feb so its not overly new

try this:
right click start button
choose powershell (admin)
type SFC /scannow and press enter
once its completed, copy/paste this command into same window:
Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth and press enter
SFC fixes system files, second command cleans image files, re run SFC if it failed to fix all files and restart PC
