Having a bit of an argument with your network card? Windows contains multiple places were network settings can be configured which can be a pain in the backside to say the least... Are you familiar with the Command Prompt? It's no problem if you arent, but it can be handy for providing a quick diagnostic of what your network cards status is.
Firstly Press and hold down the Windows Key and press the R button.
In the empty box where it says run, type in CMD.
A black Window should open on your screen.
Inside that Window type IPConfig /all
That should fill the screen with some text that describes the status of your network connection. It will look like this; -

Copy and paste the text you get into this thread (I know you cant connect to the internet with the affected machine, but you can paste the text into a text file and save it to a USB drive for pasting on a different computer alternatively you can create a text file by typing ipconfig /all > Networkstuff.txt then copy the text file)
