Alright first off, I feel like I'm going crazy and I really don't know what to do here. I have the corsair k70 keyboard and I'm trying to get the corsair utility downloaded so I can customize the colors and maintain everything easier.

Once I download the zip file, I notice it contains a PDF document and a Windows Installer file.

Here's a picture of the download (I've tried using WinZip, WinRar and the default windows zip, none of them work.)

When I click on the CorsairUtilityEngine, this happens:

So I tried running SFC /scannow in CMD and after the scan was complete it said:

"Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."

I have installed other programs like Skype, Gyazo, Google Chrome, without issue. It's just this one program that's not working and I'm not sure why. On my other computer, the same version works perfectly.

I also tried booting in safe mode and installing■ it, no luck.

Could anybody here offer some insight as to what might be the issue here?

Thank you

Yes I tried that twice no luck, however on my other computer it the exact same file worked. My other computer is running windows 10.

takes away the simple answers....
Do you have a USB drive? Extract the file on the one that works, then put the files on the USB and transfer them to the other comp.
Is it possible, the program from Corsair doesn't work on win 10?
