Windows crashes all the time

Hi guys,

Im kinda a noob when it comes to this stuff so pardon my noobieness. So I whenever I install Windows 8.1 on my computer that I built Windows works for awhile then crashes and no longer boots or works, I have tried 4 different hdd and ssds and using multiple USB and CD installs on all of my drives and either it doesn't install or it crashes after awhile. I don't understand what's going on and help would be appreciated.

Sure it's not just motherboard or PSU failure?

Make sure you load the storage controller drivers when you install to minimize the possibility of user error
