Hi, this is my first post in here so don't judge me too harshly on my English or if I don't get everything the first time :)

For a long time I've been working my way up the ladder to get a monster rig and a couple of days ago I got my hands on a brand new MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X 8gb graphics card.

My old specs for the rig were this:
Asus Crosshair V formula Z
MSI GTX 970 (Now GTX 1080)
AMD 8350-FX
12gb Corsair RAM
2x 500gb Seagate sata harddrives
1x 250gb OCZ SSD
NZXT Kraken x61
Raidmax 850-AE

I've put the whole thing together with my father (who put together his own rig as well) and i've been running that setup since January last year. But with the new GPU mounted I ran into a pretty huge issue. After uninstalling all old drivers, installing the new (without use of the installation disk), restarting the pc a couple of times and it all seems to be working fine and well; my pc then shuts itself down and reboots. I'm greeted with a slower than usual boot and my wallpaper doesn't show, then 40 seconds into the boot I'm then getting the blue "Windows ran into an issue and will restart" screen, which is cropped so I can't even see the stopcode.
I'm now stuck in this loop of crashing and rebooting with no real solution in sight, so I hope a friendly soul in here either knows or has ideas on a fix to my issue.

I dunno if this is has any drawbacks, but I fixed it. I managed to open windows in safemode and restored it to before the card and drivers were installed; then plugged in the old card, booted and uninstalled the drivers and then turned it off and installed the new card and drivers. Then I borrowed a external drive to run the installation disk and as soon as I started installing the MSI Gaming app I hit the same issue again; so I dunno if this is a BIOS, software or hardware issue. And I don't know if it has any negative impact on my performance, but the rig is fictional again and that's what is important : D
