Hi,

I run a Digital Audio Workstation on Win 10, using Cakewalk as my DAW software and Windows Defender as my antivirus. I've excluded the audio folders and folders where my audio plugins reside so the DAW works efficiently.

When I load a project I see "Antimalware Service Executable" take a few percent of the CPU, which, if I've done all the proper excluding, shouldn't happen. I'm wondering if there's a way to see the log for the files Defender is scanning at this point so I can further exclude folders and files. I realize that Defender could be doing something else during the project load, but I'd like to be sure.

Is this possible with Win 10's Defender or am I dreaming?

Thanks,
Tim
