Every time I try to manually right click and scan a single or multiple files with Windows Defender the first time since starting windows, it fails and I get a popup message "Windows Defender was unable to scan the selected file(s)." where I must hit the OK button to close it. Then from the 2nd attempt onwards it works fine and scans the file(s).
This happens on 2 separate computers of mine running separate copies of Windows 10. I am wondering if there is a solution for this just because it is annoying having to scan twice the first time every day. I tried googling but found nothing. If anyone has any experience with this issue please help
