I recently installed Win7 on an SSD and while installing all my drivers again i notice that everytime i restart my computer, "Windows Desktop Manager has stopped working" pops up and Aero doesn't seem to work. I have tried many things suggested on the internet and i've come to the conclusion that it starts happening everytime i install my gtx 970 driver. I dont know how to fix this, please help!!

I also ran a sfc /scannow test and found out a couple errors/corrupt files that windows couldn't repair:

I FIXED IT! So i went to look through the event log to see what the source of error is, and i found out that a file linked to WDM.exe called "nvwgf2umx.dll" is also crashing/there is something wrong with it. So i downloaded a version of nvwgf2umx.dll online and replaced it in the system32 folder and voila! no WDM error after restart + got my Aero to work. Hope this helps anyone else with the same problem as me!
