After upgrading the CPU, memory and motherboard in my system, I immediately tried booting into the BIOS. after pressing DEL after a long time, I still had no image on my monitor. I gave up and let it boot into windows normally. When it booted, my Wallpaper Engine wasn't loading so I decided to see why, and it prompted me to choose what monitor I wanted to see when I only have one. I suspect the BIOS problem might be because of this extra monitor.

Edit: I found the solution, and it's weird. I did some research but decided to sign off for the day and come back at it tomorrow. Thing is, once i signed out it took me to another low res screen and I checked the display settings. Only one screen!! changed the resolution and it's fixed.

By upgrading your MB, but using the same Windows install for the previous MB, you're likely to run into some more problems. If there are no other issues consider yourself lucky, however you may need a clean install if your PC OS becomes unstable.
