Hey all, so today I took my computer to school to show off a project i'd done. When I got home, and hooked everything back up, I noticed my resolution was off. It's set at 1280x1024, as opposed to its usual 1680x1050.

So, when I went into Screen Resolution, the monitor model shown is Acer AL1714 My monitor is a Westinghouse. Before I moved it, it used to show "Generic PnP Monitor," and let me choose my resolution.

I thought it was my GPU, but my computer detects it fine, and is using it as the main display. What do you guys think the problem is?

Update: Reseated the connections of the cables, it no longer shows it as an Acer monitor, which is good, it shows Generic non-PnP, (which is what it used to, not just generic pnp), but still, the native resolution is wrong.
