Windows did not detect any networking hardware

I just purchased an Asus tablet and when I try to connect to my WiFi this is the message I receive. "Windows did not detect any networking hardware" Does this mean the tablet lacks the capability to find WiFi or the tablet is not able to detect a WiFi connection? I rebooted everything and still get this message.
