Windows Died. Clean Install?

Hello, I built my sister's computer, but what happened was that Windows died and it can't find system32 files anymore, so it's unable to boot. I have no recovery disk, but I only have a full recovery disk. How do you do A clean system install. I have a Seagate hard drive in there.. but how do I do a FULL clean install of windows. Im not talkin aobut a second partition. Gracias!

well, it had Windows XP on there, but now I wanna put Windows Vista

well if you want to install vista, you are going to have to put the vista cd in, then set the boot priority in the bios so that the CD boot comes first, before the hard drive. it will load from the vista disk, and just follow the instructions there.
