Question windows displays different components from what i have installed

i recently got a new cpu and mobo, (r5 5600x and prime b450-plus) and windows still "thinks" that i have my old components (pentium g4560 and z270-a), i heard that a fix would be to reinstall windows, but im afraid that it will wipe my data. is there a way to reinstall windows and keep all of my data and drivers? thanks.

from intel to amd. do a fresh os install.
backup your data
