Windows does not start after installing ram.

I currently have adata 2rx8 pc3-10600 ddr3 ram with 667mhz. I bought and installed Kingston pc3-12800 ddr3 ram with1600mhz.

The ram is detected in the BIOS but windows does not start up. Is this because of the difference in clock speeds?????? Please be quick

What motherboard are you running? also make sure you are not running both the new and old sticks at the same time.

Mine's an LG laptop which is extinct now...... with a shitty bios(Insyde H2O).
I tried to run both of the sticks at the same time and also only with the new one. But the same problem occurred in both cases.

Chances are the motherboard doesn't support the new 12800 1600Mhz sticks of RAM, as a general rule you should aim to get the same make/model RAM when expandinding the storage.

I could'nt find any. Is it okay to buy stick with the same clock speed from another manufacturer??? Also... should I have to buy 2rx8 chip??

As long as it is PC3 10600 RAM running at around 667Mhz you should be good (as long as the mobo supports it it will downclock RAM to match the other sticks). it doesnt have to be the same make etc.
