Windows does not start properly

Hello, my windows 7 fails to start properly. When I start up my toshiba laptop there is a beeping alarm which lasts for about 2 minutes. Then when I finally gwet the desktop open and type something only a few of the keys on the keyboard function properly. Any ideas welcome please. Roadwarrior

Toshiba has a number of models. Beep codes are usually explained
in owner/user manual. Do a search for:
Toshiba + model# + manual + download to get url to download yours.

You might also boot into safe mode to see if a Windows system restore
to a date prior to this error occuring will solve your problem.

Also, if you have your Windows 7 CD you can boot with it to
perform a repair-install of Windows 7 OS.
