Hello.
I had Windows XP and wanted to install Windows 7. I chose the language, time format,..., wiped the partitions and chose from the freshly new partitions where to install Win7, and suddenly the laptop turns off. I try to turn it back on, but in just appears the screen with F2=Setup F4=System Recovery(nothing happens if i press F4), then nothing, just a screen that turns off and on again (with and without DVD/USB in).
Tried some other DVDs and USB with WinXP and Win7, and I don't reach the "Press any key to boot..." screen.

Possible answers:
- I did choose in BIOS to boot from CD/DVD / USB
- All the Windows I tried have been used by me, on laptop and desktop (Copies, not MS originals) and worked perfectly.
- When screen turns off/on I tried some keys to try to start in Safe Mode, didn't work.
- My English is bad because I'm not a native English speaker (didn't even learnt it in school).

If anyone has any idea please help, but try to be less "technical" (I don't know all the terms).
Have a nice day.

Bought the laptop in 11/09/2011, but the battery is like 4-5 months old.
I have to point that the laptop worked just fine before I began installing the new Windows.
Oh, and the "turn off/on of screen" ...To clarify: it just flickers like the little " _ " in command prompt.
And plugged in, without battery, does the same thing.
