Windows don't recognize GPU (gtx 1060)

Hi all, today i've installed windows 10 and made all the updates and installed all drivers except the nvidia driver because i get an error.

this one:

I already updated BIOS. Any idea?

Just to make sure. Re-seat the gfx card, and check that the monitor is plugged into it, and not the mobo gfx port (it happens).

Check device manager for the card, and if missing, tell Windows to scan for new hardware.

Hi, i've done some changes somewhere, and i have PCI devices in "other devices", also im plugged in the gtx 1060, i will re-seat the gtx 1060 in his slot.

Also double check additional power connector to card is secure.

Done it and nothing, and yes the power cable is secure (i had 2 equal power cable connectors in the same cable, tried both and nothing).

sounds like your monitor is plugged into the motherboard, not the geforce

there the guy force installs the drivers without the nvidia installer, check if that works for you.

Rob, yep but im 100% sure im connected to the gtx 1060 HDMI port.

get the newest one from nvidia.com (version 398.82)

oh right the picture says 341.95

Can you double check you dont have anything plugged into the motherboards display outputs? 99% of the time this is due to you running off the IGPU and not having the screen output coming from the graphics card.

What 1060 is it (make and model) and where did you buy it from?

the board is from a Portuguese shop (im portuguese, the shop is quite known around) and the make and model is: Gigabyte GeForce® GTX 1060 WindForce 2X OC 6GB GD5

Hi all again, WORKS !! I've updated windows 10 for the last version and i got automatically NVIDIA installed

well all updates... xD i meant all the drivers and windows updates (not the actual windows), my bad
