When I used Easy Transfer from my old Win 7 64 bit PC to my new Win 7 32 bit PC, I got an error saying 'Windows Easy transfer cannot transfer 64 bit files to a 32 bit computer (used Windows Easy Transfer-Seagate external drive). Please help.
That's not an error. Windows Easy Transfer Wizard (which is USMT based) does not support transfer of data from 64-bit to 32-bit. Neither does it support transfers from Windows 7 (or Vista) to Windows XP. This is by design.

So is there another way to set up my new PC (free) that is 32 bit vs. my old 64 bit (all Win 7) system besides easy transfer?
