Windows error recovery

I think my laptop has a virus, I have installed: AVG anti-virus and System Mechanic. The laptop was working perfectly until two weeks ago when a virus attacked think. When you try to do something that makes it very slow, freeze and writing a blue page.

Please recommend as repair my dell laptop Inspiron 1420, service tag 816PGG1 .

The windows vista will not start I tried to reinstall many times windows vista (home premium 32 BT) and the computer write "Windows Error Recovery" I have searched how to fix the problem but I could not. Please recommend some solution.

Based on the above symptoms, It's more likely that you have a bad hard drive or a corrupt Windows Vista re-installation disk. Try running the hardware diagnostics and see if it shows any errors. Also, if your restore partition is intact, you should be able to restore your computer's software back to factory settings without using the operating system disk.
