I get only a 6.1 score with RAID0 15k Cheetah SAS Drives ??? Why That??
How can I improve knowing that I have also 2 OCZ 120Gb SSD Ddrives
MoBo: PT6 Deluxe
Processor: 7.6 - i7965EE
Memory: 7.8 - 6x2Gb PC3 12800CL8
Graphics: 7.1 - ATI HD 4870X2
Gaming: 7.1 - ATI HD 4870X2

I get a better overall disk performance from the RAID SAS than the SSD.
Unfortunately, The P6T Deluxe has only 2 SAS ports...
Furthermore, it can only run one set of RAID disks: Marvell on SAS or Intel on SATA
Since it's a set of SAS drives on Marwell RAID VD0, the only options available are the write-caching policies.

The overall performance of the Cheetah RAID0 SAS is Better than the OCZ 120GB SSD drives.

The swapfile is on one SSD drive and the memory cache on the other SSD via eBoostr increasing it from 68MB/s to 141MB/s.

On my other rig:
P6T6 WS Revolution, and std 7.5k SATA RAID0, I get a score of 5.9... Must be a prob somewhere... Don't you think?

Windows experience index has certain criteria that no matter what performance, it gives it a certain max score.

Normal disk drives (with disks) have a max score of 5.9, i assume that with raid they can score higher, e.g the 6.1
i also suspect that it grades memory on its architecture, DDR3 vs DDR2, with a max score of 5.9 for DDR2.

Well, I guess you're right, and it startled me to see only that fine difference between the two. I guess the new 6Gb/s should get a better score.
If I really want to make a real difference, I guess I should go for Mem drives...lol
In fact, it's not the disk score I'm really after, since I mainly use that rig for 3D.
I use my 5.9 rated M17 Alienware Laptop: Q9300EE, 8Gb RAM, dual ATI HD 3870, 1To RAID0, which I've never even attempted to run it's battery...lol

Odd ! I have tried two rapters in raid 0 and then two wd 640 sataIII in raid0...and while I do get much more disk space, my overall performance, tests and load times are not as fast as using only the new, but single Crucial m4 series ssd on sataIII. I do, however, have a very optimized ssd setup in win 7.

My overall score score ? 7.8 Disk is 7.9
Would be 7.9 overall, if I jack up the cpu to 5.1 or so in order to improve my calc per second score from 7.8.

But then...I have found that 10 different people will each get 10 different milage figures regardless of what they drive.
