Windows Explorer being stupid

Anytime I open ANY folders in windows explorer eventually it crashes, restarts, then screws up again. I'd really like to know why it is doing this.

get the moosoft cleaner, it is a trojan removal tool, it is slow but thurough

Can you do Windows Updates?
