Hi All,
Issue has been driving me nuts for many months. Custom built pc, around 2 years old. Windows start menu will randomly crash, mutliple symptoms shown.
It will do things like
randomly wont open start menu, delayed opening anyway from 5-40 seconds
No right click on start menu working or desktop
no left click working
no icons shown
generally windows explorer just crashing
I have tried many things, does the same thing with differnt user accounts, tried various regedits shown on forums, i have rebuilt windows from scratch 3 times, one with a completely new NVME, various unistall of video drivers etc...
Im out of ideas. All the syptoms are software but the fact completely fresh windows installs dont fix it makes me thinks its something hardware/driver related?

ryzen 3700 with nzxt 360 aio
gigabyte aorus pro x570
32gb corsair 3600 c18 ram
amd vega 64 nitro+
750w psu
2 x 1tb nvmes, 1 500gb nvme on pcie card, 2 x 1tb ssd and 1 x 2tb ssd (do a lot of photo work hence all the storage)
Literally any ideas i will try! driving me mad as its so inconsistant, it can get nothing for hours and then im waiting 5 mins to do anything as it keeps crashing.
