I have a Dell Precision Laptop M6300 with an Intel Core Duo T9300 processor (2.5GHZ), 8GB memory, and an Nvdia Quadro video card.

I've had the computer for about 2 years know with minimal problems. However, last month I installed Windows 7 professional 64-bit on a clean hard drive (I completely formatted the drive before the install).

Overall the computer is running great however Windows Explorer and a couple other windows tasks crash on me daily. According to the event log, windows explorer crashes on average 5 times a day during the roughly 5-6 hours I use the computer. Sometimes it will happen randomly when the computer is idle but it usually happens when I right click on the desktop or when using internet explorer. Note - this has no affect on internet explorer - just windows explorer. This problem has been with me since day one of the install of Windows. I've installed all the latest updates too.

Below is an example of the Application Error Report. I also taken a few snapshots of it. If anyone can suggest a fix I would appreciate it. If not, I'm going to attempt to re-install windows again.
