My comp specs: windows 10, ryzen 5 3600, gtx 1070 ti, 500gb WD blue SSD m.2, asrock phantom gaming b550 mobo, 16gb ram.
Heres some screencaps of what im dealing with below. Just started happening the past month, I built this rig about 4 months ago. Not sure what the issue is but things will work fine for about 4-5 hours then this starts happening.
Icons not displaying properly, folders not loading, sidebar within the explorer windows not loading, etc. Restarting fixes it, but its annoying to deal with, I should be able to run my comp for days straight without needing to restart. Icons on my desktop will also be blank like that sometimes, refreshing sometimes fixes the icon not displaying issue, other times it doesnt.
All i can think of is maybe my SSD is faulty? im not sure, all my files seem to load properly without issues, they just arent displaying properly in windows.
any advice or diagnosis appreciated.
