Question Windows explorer not recognising my external Drives

Hi,
I have 2 external adapters to read my SSD or 3.5" SATA Drives. I can see both adapters working in device and printers, I can also see them in device management BUT not in windows explorer. I can only access the internal drive and its partition. Please help.

what the exact model of the adapter and the ssd/hdd?

The SSD is a 60gb crucial and the hdd is a HGST 1TB. Tried with other drives and the result is the same. Both my adapter are USB but don't know their brands but they both are working since i can see them in device manager.
