Windows Failed to Start, Error Recovery

Hello, I just built my brand new PC and out of nowhere I get the Error Hard drive Recovery message. I tried hitting Launch Startup Repair and the F8 key but nothing happens. Also, when I try to just start Windows normally I either get a black screen, a blue error screen, or it just restarts my computer. Any ideas?

Do you have a Windows Disk? If so (providing you can get into your bios, or boot menu) you could set your CD/DVD drive to boot first and use the start up repair tool on the disk to trouble shoot.

Do you have a Windows Disk? If so (providing you can get into your bios, or boot menu) you could set your CD/DVD drive to boot first and use the start up repair tool on the disk to trouble shoot.

Yes, I do have the Windows disk and I just tried to set the drive to boot first. But, nothing happened and it went back to the black error hard drive message.

It could be a failed hard drive. have you got a spare one that you could swap over, and see if it works?
