Windows fails to update

Honorable
Well, as the title says, my PC can't update.
This may be caused by the fact that I had to reset the BIOS before it could update.
I'm not sure if this happened
Windows might have updated on shut down, but when I turned it on, I messed with the bios, specifically "Fast Boot", I set it to "Ultra Fast" and it said "Insert media in boot device....", so I had to reset BIOS.
I think that's what caused it, but I don't know how to fix it.

Solution
Win 10 will get a new version every 6 months, you should have used a newer installer 10 days ago and it would have saved you doing it now.

is that your screenshot as it seems odd it won't keep files. I can understand not wanting to start again so soon. Next time get a new installer before you start
what version of win 10 are you on?
right click start
choose run...
type winver and press enter
Does it say Build 1607?

If so, what does it show in settings/update & security/windoiws update/update history
does it show any fails and if so, what KB number are they?

If it doesn't say 1607, Go here and press upgrade now, it will download the upgrade assistant. Run it and it will upgrade you to latest build of win 10.

you can try running the Windows update troubleshooter
search cortana for troubleshooting
choose the control panel choice
in next window, choose view all from left column
The Windows update troubleshooter should be at bottom

if it still doesn't work
right click start button
choose command prompt (admin)
type SFC /scannow and press enter
once its finished, copy/paste this into same window:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

SFC cleans system files, DISM cleans files SFC uses to check files, so if SFC failed first time, run again and restart PC afterwards

Build version is 1511, I am downloading upgrade now. Thanks.
And I meant to post a picture of the failed update, as you see update 1607 has also failed.

You might be better off downloading the tool on the same page, it is the win 10 media creation tool. I would use it to create a win 10 installer on USB or DVD, as its easier to use that to upgrade PC, just in case process fails as then you don't need to download it all again.

1511 was the Nov 15 version of win 10., its been a while since it came out.
