Windows File Explorer crashes during search

When I perform a search for a file, Windows Explorer crashes. Then I sometimes lose the information bar at the bottom of the screen. The File Explorer crashes even in safe mode.

I have performed a scan disk with no issues found. Has anyone seen this issue?
