This is a rather hypothetical question - I'm wondering if there are "mods" of some kind for the Windows 7 file system which includes some more flexibility in the GUI.
As an example - I have searched for but couldn't find, a feature where you right click on a folder... and click "dump contents into current window", a kind of unwrapping of the contents of a folder into the same window.
It makes intuitive sense to me, if I have a physical folder, I can just open it and dump the contents out in front of me. Currently though, I need to open said folder in another window, and then transfer all the contents BACK into the (let's say higher directory) window.
Is there any tweak that would let me accomplish this kind of (command line reminiscent) file management jiu jitsu?
Thanks in advance.
