windows firewall is disabled error 0x6D9

when i looked at my firewall settings it says that windows firewall couldn't be started : error 0x6D9

Follow these instructions :

1. Open an elevated command prompt. see how.
2. In the command window, type following and press Enter after each command line :
netsh advfirewall reset
net start mpsdrv
net start bfe
net start mpssvc
regsvr32 firewallapi.dll
3. Restart Windows.

Note: If the above steps show error, or Windows Firewall still cannot be started, then you can run Microsoft Diagnosis FixIt utility to automatically fix the Microsoft Firewall related errors: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/943996

it didnt work all the messages errored and if i use the fix it tool: it recognizes the problems but when it trys to repair them it just says not repaired
