I'm looking to purchase Windows 7 for my new computer build, but the only two options I've come across are OEM and Upgrade. I don't understand which one would be better to buy. Also, are student discounts offered for these versions of Windows? I'm a high school student taking extra classes at community college. Any help would be appreciated :)

OEM is for installing onto new systems. The upgrade can only be used if you already have a legit copy of windows on the computer. To get student discounts, you need an .edu email. Im not sure if community colleges give one out. When I took summer classes, they didnt give me one at my school. But if you got one, check microsofts website
