Hello,

(my pc has a 500gb SSD [boot drive, has windows on it] and a 1tb HDD)

Recently I was downloading a game from steam when my computer suddenly froze to the point where I had to force restart it. After that, my computer pretty much died. Basically a white underderline pops up for a second, disappears, and nothing happens after that. (same issue as the video here

except the cursor wasn’t blinking multiple times, just once and then went into a black screen). I tried a lot of different solutions to fix the issue but nothing seemed to work.

After an hour or so of trying, I decided to unplug my HDD to see if that was the cause of the issue. It wasn’t. Tried unplugging the SSD and boom. PC actually started loading normally and I could enter BIOS and whatnot (otherwise it told me to insert a boot device, because windows is on my ssd).

So my question is - is my SSD completely dead and/or is there a way to check if my SSD is dead? If so, how?

Any help is appreciated!
