Windows freezes after 2-3 mins after startup

This happens every time I startup....after 2 mins the computer freezes .... I can still move my mouse around but it shows the loading circle....I have attached a task manager image also

You have not attached anything.

If "svchosts" is using up a lot of CPU time, it could be either HDD problems or even bad drivers. If anything else is causing issues, it could be that software.

I can't see the image as well.

Also, I would agree with basroil that this could be a hard drive related problem. It would be nice if you just test the drive and see whether this is the case: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility

In case there is something wrong with it, you need to back up the data stored on it.

i forgot about this thread ... sry ... but i just restored my laptop to a backup i took earlier and that fixed it .... it looked like it was a video drive problem .... stay clear of the amd 14.4 driver
