[SOLVED] Windows freezes when opening any folder on my WD HDD

Hi all,

So I have a Western Digital 2TB HDD, had it for maybe 2-3 years with no issues. I have a bunch of games installed on it via Steam, when trying to update them, steam freezes and crashes. The same thing happens when I try to open any folder on the drive, does this mean it's corrupted? Any input would be appreciated cheers.

That's great news, now I can put a drill through it like they do in films!
