My 4 port USB HUB in the shape of a mouse with each of the 2 legs and 2 arms as USB connections, gives this error recently, whereas before I never received this error. The light on the 4 port USB Hub still comes on.

I can plug in the laptop cooler fan and it will work, but a Flash Drive no longer works, Magic Jack no longer works.

I tried disabling then re-enabling the drivers, but that didn't work. Wha can I do?

Hub is gone bad, Dime a dozen, just pick up a cheap new one at wal mart or something. Then fan still works because the volts still are flowing though the hub "5v".

DormantReign, if its already bad, then I suppose there is no harm dissecting it in an attempt to fix it or for curiosity sake? Since there arent many moving parts, Im guessing the problem would be one of the gold colored connector contacts where it plugs into the computer.
