[SOLVED] Windows HDR issue

Hi

I recently got a HDR display, and I turned on HDR under Windows HD Color. Works great 99.9% of the time. There is the odd time where if i leave the computer unattended and the screen turns off by itself, upon waking it's REALLY dim. like very dim.

I've check the monitor settings, nvidia control panel brightness settings, all 100%, no settings are changed. The only way i can get the brightness back is if i disable HDR and re-enable it.

Could this potentially be a faulty monitor issue? Or a GPU/Software issue?

Did you run all windows updates?

use ddu uninstaller to delete all nvidia driver files and reinstall the latest one for your PC

Windows Update is always up to date, and just ran it again to check but nothing new.

I've run DDU and reinstalled all nvidia drivers, and it hasn't happened so far but its only on the odd occassion so i'll see how i go.
