Question Windows Hello making my fingerprint scanner incompatible.

So recent update to my windows has caused the fingerprint scanner to not work with windows hello. It's drivers are up to date so no problem there. Not sure if this windows hello is new, but for sure annoying. And of course microsoft is no help.

What's the make and model of your laptop. Have you tried uninstalling the drivers completely in Device Manager > Biometric Devices, and then reinstalling them from the manufacturer website.

I have an HP Envy x360. No I have not completely uninstalled the device, will try that now.
