hey im in the process of building a comp and for problems with funds im thinking about getting a 1tb hdd and putting windows on that... then i was gonna get another 1tb hdd with a ssd and put windows on ssd and get the 2 hdds to go in raid 0. is it possible to do this? or should i get the ssd 1st then i wont have 2 worry about switching windows? and just get the 2x 1tb hdds later??

Raid 0 must use drives of identical capacities.

Setting up Raid 0 will erase the contents of both drives.

Raid 0 will not improve random read speed, which is important for most activities. Ssd will though.

Suggest getting a 60 or 120 gb ssd for windows and a 1tb drive for apps and storage.

thats what im asking if i have windows on the hdd... can i move windows to ssd b4 i set the other hd in raid 0?
