I use Windows Home Server V1 to back up all of our systems, (which are all Windows 10) and, recently, one of our desktop started having problems booting, (it would give errors when starting and say it needed to be repaired, but repair would not work). Because of network driver issues, I have not been able to do a direct restore using nothing but the new hard drive and the restore disk. As a result, I have installed Windows 10 on the new hard drive and have then used clientrestorewizard to restore the drive from our server. The problem I'm having is that none of the restores that I do will boot. I can go into the hard drive and see that it has all the file/program content, it just wont start if it's the only thing plugged in. When I look at the contents of the backup, it appears to have three volumes, (one of which is a non-lettered volume). One is the "C:" drive itself, one is an "F:" drive that says it has Home Server content, and one is a non-lettered volume that also has Home Server files and is only 450 mbs, (C: drive is 792.12GB and F: is 138.95GB). I have only been restoring the C: volume, which may be my problem, but I'm not really sure what to do about the other volumes. I can't remember if I've ever done a Home Server restore since going to Windows 10 on all our computers and, when doing restores in the past, I don't remember ever seeing multiple volumes.
