hello everyone!
i have noticed that my computer is stating to slow down. i look after my machine very well. i defagement frequently. i clean often, i run CClearner weekly. i just reinstalled windows 6monthes ago.
my current set up is C: - windows, P: - programs G: - games, O: - Other (all on one TB drive with only about 350GB used in total) as well as W: - Backup ( separate internal drive that i periodically back up to and extremal has 250GB full out of 500GB)

could the indexing of these drives be causing the computer to slow?

if so what would you recommend be a good partition set up?
if not any other ideas as to what it could be?

Solution
what program do u use to defragment? you should drive smart defrag 2 from iobit.com (the best program out there, and its free).

You could try using no partitions, the partitions could be ur problem. and i dont really see an advantage (ive tried it and i had to reinstall many games and programs).

the best option i could think of is to install everything onto the same partition, and use norton ghost or another cloning program to clone it to a second drive
