I had windows 8.1 on my system but it crashed, it had symptoms of crash, i used get blue screen and system used to restart unexpectedly. i tried to restore the windows 8.1 but it failed.

So i tried to install win10, but i used to get error some files missing and installation used to exit. i tried win7 also but same result. even though same win7 was used to install on another system which is working fine.

Next i did to install ubuntu 18, that also failed, i formatted the HDD and installed ubuntu that time it was success. but i am having problem in running ubuntu. Some time it freezes some time it slows down, however i am not used to using ubuntu as to windows but currently i dont have option.

i also tried Win10 installation in legacy as well as UEFI , both failed i used disk part to convert to gpt.

however i cant locate the issue, reading some of error result on google it suggest bad HDD or RAM.

i used bad blocks command on ubuntu to check for bad sector on HDD
it returned 0 bad blocks ( no partition )

I really dont understand the issue any guidance will be helpful.

You shouldn't be on Windows 7. You should ideally be on Windows 10. Use Windows Media Creation Tools to create your bootable installer and try reinstalling your OS. On another note, are you on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard?

Thanks for reply and your thoughts.

No i havent ever tried to update BIOS, i wanted to do that but i read it is not important until some motherboard issue is present. it has been 6 month old system i was not actually expecting any problem. HDD is 5 yr old. other compinents are new

@Lutfij
I have created new Installation using media creation tool, the installation happened OK. but when I am trying to use window
1. at first instance application used to close unexpectedly (MS Edge browser)
2. the windows shut down with BSOD (PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA error.)
3. it slow down unexpectedly

Now new application was installed or any crack software
