Ok so I'm having a problem with my new pc. I had just recently built a gaming pc that my buddy helped me put together. We installed windows 10 through the ssd by downloading it first from another computer. We got it installed and got all the drivers installed for the hardware. I shut it down and then come back to it later, turned it on and it takes me back to the windows 10 installation. Now the only way I can go into windows and to my desktop is to press f11 and select the windows boot manager option from the setup menu. I then deleted the files for the windows 10 installation, but it keeps taking me to the installation menu whenever I start my computer up. I'm trying to figure out how I can just turn my pc on where it automatically just goes to windows and my desktop without having to press f11 and manually select the windows boot manager to take me to my desktop. Was there any files that I had to delete that I missed or something? Cause I can't think of anything.

I have an
i5-8600k
MSI Z370 thomahawk
Nvidia GTX 1070 GPU
16GB RAM
2TB firecuda
And a 250 gb ssd

Solution
Start over.

Get an 8GB USB Flash Drive.
Follow These Instructions under Using the tool to create installation media (USB Flash Drive, DVD, or ISO File) to install Windows 10 on a different PC

The problem you seem to be experiencing is that you downloaded/installed the installation media onto the same PC you want to install it on. You need to install the Media Creation Tool onto an operational PC and then use the tool to create the actual installation media onto the USB flash drive.

Absolutely wrong way to do it -- no wonder it keeps restarting the installation.

You've got to use removable storage device (eg DVD or USB Pen Drive) to install Windows.
