[SOLVED] Windows installed on wrong drive haunting me

I think this is the correct forum but if i'm wrong move me.

When I first installed windows on the PC I just built, I mistakenly installed windows to a 2TB SSD instead of a 1TB M.2 drive and it’s been messing with me ever since. I did a million things, but finally I got Easeus Partition Master and moved the OS to the M.2 drive, unplugged the SSD and renamed the M.2 as the C drive. I reboot to the M.2 and everything is fine except when I re-plug in the SSD it doesn’t show up in windows or partition master but it does show in the bios and if I reboot the SSD renames itself to be the C drive and loads window from the SSD and the M.2 is renamed E.

I know what your saying, just wipe the SSD but when I boot to the M.2 and plug in the SSD it doesn't show up anywhere for me to reformat it.

What am I doing wrong?

Solution
A proper clone operation would NOT have needed any changing of drive letters on the resulting OS drive.
