Question Windows installer stuck "Preparing to install.."

Im trying to install Sony Vegas and my pc keeps getting stuck at "Preparing to install.." when im trying to launch the .exe

Anyone in here have any clue how to fix this? Ive tried googling and finding a solution but no success so far..

What OS do you run (new versions of Vega probably won't support xp) ?

Where did you get/download the program from ?
