Windows Internet Explorer Not working

I have skype which is dependent on IE and its not working. I made a new account and IE does work but i dont want to stay on this account. When i open IE its just a white screen with on URL at the top and i cant go anywhere on it.

did you try to download the skype free alone and see if work http://www.skype.com/en/
