Windows is Giving Me 3 Beeps Every Few Minutes

Ok. Please don't ridicule me for the way I've approached this situation. I am in no way a software expert. I spend my time learning about hardware, and I've neglected to learn anything about Windows 8.1.

Anyways, that's beside the point. The point is that a week ago, my PC started beeping (through the audio jack not the case), and I googled the problem to see what it was. What I learned was that if Windows is beeping, I have some sort of issue with my system. Well, there were several different beeping patterns listed that would tell you what the specific problem was, but I couldn't find one that matched the beeps coming from my system. (Three consecutive beeps every few minutes)

Well I just ignored the problem because I couldn't figure out what it was, and after shutting down my PC, it was gone for a week. Well today it came back, and I'm going to try to find the problem this time before I end up screwing up my precious computer.

Thanks.

Solution
1) you should learn software as well , as without software the hardware does nothing
2) the 'beeps' even from a Motherboard could be directed through the Sound jacks now with UEFI being totally different then BIOS was.
3) You would need to get your MOTHERBOARD MANUAL and look up the beep code, there IS NO BEEP CODE IN WINDOWS. Windows is a GRAPHICAL User Interface, so it will VISUALLY tell you of a problem (Blue Screen of Death, Pop Up 'OKAY' panel, etc.).
4) To me it sounds like most likely your overheating since it goes away and comes back after a time. So based on the heavier use it would beep HEY OVERHEATING. Most likely the included Mobo software that accesses the UEFI through Windows is telling you there is a problem.
5) As...
Well, the first thing that comes to my mind, since I'm not entirely sure what you're issue is - are the beeps a particular Windows sound, such as the "Default Beep," is it the literal default beep that you get when there are no sounds associated to particular Windows events, and is there any sort of preceding action, such as a key press on the keyboard, mouse click, or even a particular program being opened or in use?

Has anything ever been spilled on the keyboard, or have any of the keys ever become stuck? Are all USB connections between any peripherals, such as mouse and keyboard, secure?

5) As your lost, and this is NOT your expertise, IF you didn't build this PC yourself, I would suggest contacting the manufacturer, else bring it to a certified IT Service Tech that "knows more than hardware".
