Hi, i have a problem

I've got 2 X 8GB corsair vengance DDR4 3200Mhz RAM sticks in my gigabyte z270x gaming k5 board. The BIOS recognises them both (but it only seems to count 8 gb). When I go to Windows it only uses 8GB and it says there is only one slot in use.

-cpuz seems to recognize the 2 slots but only 10 gb (8 of one and 2 of the other)
-I have already tried the msconfig maximum memory boot and no result.
-Currently they are in dual channel, I have already changed the slots without result but when I put them outside the dual chanel the mother simply does not boot and turn on a light in a place that says "dram"
-I have already cleared the CMOS

when I took this picture I was testing it at 2400 ghz

I have had this buld for 3 years and I think this must be happening to me 6 months ago due to fps problems with games, but just today I realize that I am only using 8gb of ram. How can I sort this out?

Solution
I would try reseating the ram and maybe even swapping the modules. If it recognizes at anything above 8gb, run memtest off a boot device and see if you have any errors.
