Windows keeps crashing

I installed an update for Adobe and ever since my windows has kept crashing after starup. After booting it gets up to the point where it loads windows and says "wait a moment" (or something like that; I use a finnish version of vista). After that the screen goes black with nothing on it than the mouse cursor, or the other option is that it goes off. I think it's a problem with windows and I've tried booting it with the windows installation disc. When I try this option my laptop starts loading drivers and whatnot and when I select to reinstall windows my laptop shuts down. What shoul I do?

Try uninstalling the adobe program that you think started it all and see if it continues to happen. To uninstall it, try booting into safe mode.
