Question Windows lags with new motherboard.

So yesterday i installed my new motherboard a h81 pro btc r2.0. But i experince huge lags in windows. My gpu, cpu and ram seems to work as usual but i still have heavy lags in windows, chrome and games. I have tried to reinstall windows in varius ways but it wont let me.

Gpu: Geforce 770
cpu: i5 4670k
ram: two 8gb ddr3 sticks

No error messages just saying something went wrong. no more information

Recreate windows install media, boot from it and perform clean install of windows.

BTW - what was the model of old motherboard? Why did you need to change it?

Can you describe the lag? Is it only at certain times, consistent, just mouse lag, do game/benchmark tests show the lag too? What are the results of basic stress tests (Memtest86, Prime95, Furmark)?
Are you (or have you done) overclocking with these components? If yes, reset all overclocking to default (speeds, voltages, timings) and test. How are your temps? What cooling are you using for the CPU?
