[SOLVED] Windows Live Essentials

The windows movie maker is corrupted on my pc, I want to uninstall and then reinstall it but it doesn't showup in programs and features under control panel. when I try to install the windows movie maker, it shown that it is alreday installed which doesn't show up anywhere on PC.

Because Movie Maker is a component of Windows Live Essentials, you need to scroll down to "Windows Live Essentials" in Programs & Features. Then choose which component(s) you wish to uninstall.

I happened to meet the same error on my win10 computer.
Like other suggests, you should be able to find C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Live\Photo Gallery (or you can search Photo Gallery on your C disk. Alternatively, you can find Movie Maker on the start menu, right-click it and hit uninstall. Now you should be able to remove it from your computer.
